UXCrunch Is Back!

On Tuesday night in London, we brought UXCrunch back.
Our first event since acquiring the platform at the end of last year. A room full of designers, product leaders, and builders. Sold out. High energy. And most importantly, real conversation.
Hosted at Lloyds Banking Group, the night marked the beginning of a new chapter for UXCrunch. Not a restart. Not a rebrand. A continuation, with intent.

A Community That Still Matters
UXCrunch has always been about the people in the room.
Not just the talks, but everything around them. The conversations before. The debates after. The shared perspective between people figuring things out in real time.
That’s exactly what showed up on Tuesday.
From the moment doors opened, there was a clear sense that this wasn’t just another industry event. People came to engage. To question. To connect.
One attendee described it as “a brilliant return for UXCrunch”
Another called it “a great reminder of how valuable it is to be in a room with people thinking through the same challenges.”
That’s what matters.
Not just content. Community.

Conversations That Reflected Reality
The talks, led by voices from Lloyds Banking Group and across the industry, focused on what’s actually happening inside teams today.
Not theory. Not polished narratives.
Real experiences.
- How design is evolving inside complex organisations
- The growing importance of communication and influence
- The role of human judgement in an AI-shaped world
- The tension between speed, quality, and clarity
What stood out wasn’t just the topics, but how they were delivered.
Openly. Honestly. Without pretending everything is figured out.
One reflection captured it well: “It wasn’t about having the answers, it was about having the right conversations.”
Another attendee shared that the talks “cut through the noise” and brought things back to what actually matters in day-to-day work.
That’s the space we want UXCrunch to occupy.

Led With Intent
Our Chief Strategy Officer, Kevin Stewart, hosted the night and set the tone from the outset.
Simple.
No fluff. No overproduction. No hiding behind slides.
Just a focus on creating the right environment for meaningful conversation.
Because the value isn’t in presenting perfection.
It’s in making space for honesty.
And that came through clearly in how people experienced the night.
“Authentic, grounded, and genuinely useful” was how one attendee described it.

The Energy Carried Beyond the Room
The best moments didn’t end when the talks did.
They carried into the conversations afterwards. Into the pub. Into the posts shared by attendees reflecting on the night.
People spoke about the quality of the speakers. The relevance of the topics. The openness of the discussion.
One post described it as “UXCrunch back with a bang.”
Another highlighted how refreshing it was to see both junior and senior voices engaging equally in the conversation.
That mix is important.
Because the future of the industry isn’t shaped by one perspective.
It’s shaped by all of them.
Why We’re Investing in This
We didn’t acquire UXCrunch to maintain it.
We acquired it because we believe spaces like this matter more than ever.
The industry is moving fast. AI is changing how we work. Teams are restructuring. Expectations are shifting.
And in the middle of that, there are very few places where people can step back and talk honestly about what’s actually happening.
That’s what UXCrunch is for.
Not polished showcases.
Not surface-level thinking.
Real conversations between people doing the work.
What We’re Building
Our focus is simple:
- Create space for real conversations
- Bring together people doing the work
- Keep it honest, practical, and grounded
- Build a community that evolves with the industry
No unnecessary noise.
Just the conversations that actually move things forward.
Because when you get the room right, everything else follows.
This Is Just the Start
Tuesday was the first step.
A strong one.
But just the beginning of what UXCrunch can become.
The response made one thing clear.
People want this.
They want spaces that are less about performance and more about participation. Less about answers and more about understanding.
We’re here to build that.
With the community. For the community.
UXCrunch is back.
And we’re just getting started.
